Hunter Stunzi

  • President

Hunter Stunzi is responsible for the overall vision and strategic direction of SnapCap. The inspiration behind SnapCap comes from Stunzi’s view that bank lending has become far too complicated.

Stunzi joined Wells Fargo and was quickly promoted to Senior Credit Manager, distinguishing himself as a top loan producer in the southeast market. During his time at Wells Fargo, Stunzi developed a robust understanding of bank credit a nd the lending process. More recently, Stunzi worked as a Financial Advisor with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. While at Merrill Lynch, Stunzi met his current business partner, Chris Mettler, who runs CompareCards.com. Hunter and Chris built SnapCap to create a user friendly lending platform that focuses less on a business owner’s credit score and more on the overall health of their business. See More

Chris Mettler

  • SVP Marketing

Chris Mettler’s experience in the financial industry began as a loan officer for SunTrust Bank and more recently has involved overseeing the growth of the second largest credit card comparison website, CompareCards.com.

Mettler is also the founder of Iron Horse Holdings Co, an internet marketing company focused on building web based technology brands that drive end-user value in vertical markets. Prior to working in the financial services industry, Mettler was a Business Unit Manager for Illinois Tool Works, a global Fortune 200 company. In 2000, he sold a comparison search software company to Q-Interactive, now a leading consumer savings destination. Mettler is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and holds an MBA in Business Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. See More

Chris Thompson

  • SVP Credit & Operations

Chris joined SnapCap from the City of London, where he ran the precious metals sales and trading business for Sumitomo Corporation, a major Japanese trading house. He was also an elected member of the Management Committee of the London Bullion Market Association, helping to set the strategic direction for this multi-billion dollar market. He studied at the universities of Cambridge and London, and moved to Charleston with his family in 2016.

At SnapCap, Chris is responsible for assessing and managing credit and financial risks. He works directly with the President and advisors to ensure the company hits its financial and operational targets.

Sean McGinty

  • VP Marketing

Sean McGinty is responsible for the marketing operations of SnapCap. Before coming to SnapCap, McGinty was a Senior Manager of SEM at Merkle Inc. There he led a large team in executing industry leading digital marketing initiatives across a variety of verticals including retail, travel and finance. His years of experience in data-driven marketing give him the experience needed to stay ahead in the rapidly changing marketing and financial landscapes.

At SnapCap, McGinty is accountable for the expansion of marketing efforts. In addition, he is committed to providing a helpful, secure and seamless online experience for SnapCap’s small business customers.

McGinty has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Greg Libon

  • SVP Sales

Greg Libon, representing the new breed of modern sales leadership, blends a background in finance with deep experience in SaaS software sales as SnapCap’s Senior VP of Sales. Responsible for growing and scaling the SnapCap originations team, Libon plays a key role in SnapCap’s growth as the leader in alternative business lending.

Prior to joining SnapCap, Libon worked as a founding member of the sales team at PeopleMatter, a venture-backed SaaS company providing cloud-based software to the service industry. At PeopleMatter, Libon contributed to the company’s rapid growth from a small startup company to the nationally recognized tech organization it is today. This followed several years of experience in the finance and banking industry, where he worked in positions of increasing responsibility at Wachovia and Wells Fargo.

Jivko Ivanov

  • SVP Technology

A technology visionary and an accomplished full stack developer, Jivko Ivanov brings decades of programming experience to the team. He started at the early age of 9 and hasn't stopped since. Jivko loves working with cutting edge technologies and finding creative solutions for tough problems. He is capable of turning even the craziest idea into a completed product. Jivko's latest interests include cloud technologies, machine learning algorithms and practical artificial intelligence.

Prior to joining SnapCap he spent over a decade working in the financial industry. He led a team that automated trading strategies for the Foreign Exchange markets. Later he turned to the exploding online retail market and developed e-commerce solutions for various sized companies.

Sean Clifford

  • VP Business Development

Sean Clifford is the Vice President of Business Development at SnapCap. Clifford is responsible for the development of strategic partnerships, new market entry strategies and oversees all corporate development activities at SnapCap. He is focused on educating our partners and delivering SnapCap’s financing solutions to a broad base of small and medium sized businesses.

Clifford comes to SnapCap from EnviroMix, where he was instrumental in starting and building a multi-million dollar technology company. During his seven year tenure, he served in multiple capacities including Director of Finance and Sales and Marketing Manager. Sean’s entrepreneurial experiences provides a broader perspective for SnapCap’s solutions, serving customers who lack the financial metrics to qualify for a bank loan or who need access to quick capital.

Josh Weaver

  • VP Front-End Development

Josh is responsible for building and maintaining SnapCap's front-end web assets. Josh earned a PhD in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina and a Bachelors in Chemistry from Wabash College. Josh has had experience working in a wide range of fields including as a research scientist for the United States Army Research Lab, and he brings a very strong background in science and technology to SnapCap.

With expertise in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, Josh works to make sure that SnapCap's pages have a great user experience and to increase visitor conversions. He loves building responsive pixel perfect web sites and stays busy trying to keep up with the ever evolving world of web development.

Mike Gianoni

Mike Gianoni has served as president and chief executive officer of Blackbaud, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLKB), a leading technology company that powers the business of philanthropy for its more than 30,000 nonprofit customers since 2014.

Gianoni joined Blackbaud from Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a global provider of financial services technology solutions, where he was executive vice president and group president of the Financial Institutions Group.

Previously, he was president of Fiserv’s Investment Services division, executive vice president, and general manager of CheckFree Investment Services, and the leader of numerous divisions at DST, where he focused on developing new platforms and ensuring stronger operational controls. Today, with degrees in both engineering and business, as well as an MBA and Honorary Doctorate from the University of New Haven, Gianoni has a successful track record of strong operational management of IT businesses that deliver value for customers, shareholders and employees.

Steve Swanson

Steve Swanson is the Inside Director of Operations and Strategy at SnapCap. Prior to joining SnapCap, Swanson co-founded Automated Trading Desk (ATD), a pioneer in high frequency trading based in South Carolina. In 2001, Swanson was named President and CEO where he was responsible for growing ATD to 7% of US daily equity trading volume.

In 2007, ATD was sold to Citigroup for $680 million. At Citigroup, Swanson was made global co-head of electronic trading for equities. He is a past chairman of the NASDAQ Quality of Markets Committee, and a past member of the SIFMA Trading and Markets Committee. Since leaving Citi/ATD in 2010, he has been involved with several startups in New York and South Carolina. He currently serves on the Board of Director at the Bank of South Carolina (NASDAQ: BKSC).

Swanson is a passionate volunteer at his alma mater, College of Charleston, where he serves on the Foundation Board, the Business School Board of Governors, and the Honors Advisory Council. Most recently, Swanson has been named co-chair of the College of Charleston Comprehensive Campaign, which has raised $110 million of a $125 million goal.

He and his wife have also established the Swanson Scholars program, which provides competitive scholarships to the Honors College. As of the fall of 2014, there will be 29 Swanson Scholars at the College of Charleston.

Cody Bear

  • Employee Satisfaction

As head of Employee Satisfaction, Cody is responsible for ensuring that SnapCap employees are not only working hard, but also enjoying themselves. Cody is also here to remind us that there is more to life than working on loan applications - as he requires frequent bathroom breaks and walks. Cody was once placed on “unpaid” administrative leave for excessive barking during an important meeting and eating a pound of gourmet coffee beans. He has since improved his behavior and is back full time. In his time away from the office, he most enjoys chasing squirrels, diving into lakes and resting on his owner's lap. See More
